They helped facilitate the organization of trips by giving programme advice, selecting appropriate local schools, giving a warm welcome to the delegations, and making sure that the visits went smoothly. With the assistance of the Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates, the delegations had the opportunity to pay courtesy calls on the Ambassadors, the Consul-Generals, and local high-ranking officials in those countries. The visits also allowed the Young Ambassadors to learn about the responsibilities and work of staff and officers at the Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates. Many were even inspired to become future diplomats.
