Minister of Foreign Affairs awarded Scholarships to Students at Wat Thorn Samor School, Singburi Province

On 7 November 2018, H.E Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, visited Wat Thorn Samor School in Singburi Province. The school became a member of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation’s network schools since 2001 and has actively participated in various activities of the Foundation. The school currently has 176 students with classes ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs awarded 20 scholarships, each valued at 2,500 baht, valued in total 50,000 baht, to students with good behavior and academic record, but lack financial resources. In addition to the scholarships, the Foundation presented the schools with laptop computers, document cabinets, and sports equipments from the Asset Procurement and Management Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also planted a Yellow star tree, which is a symbol of courage and goodness, representing the future of youth who will grow to become a good citizen in the society. The Minister of Foreign Affairs also visited the exhibition on the school’s practice of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and the exhibition on innovation from other network schools of the Foundation.

MFA Scholarship

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs presented scholarships to Anuban Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya School in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya

On 26 October 2022, Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a visit to Anuban Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya School, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, and presented 10 scholarships to well-behaved students who are underprivileged at Anuban Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya School. His Excellency also presented 5 scholarships each to Wat Phananchoeng School, Wat Sawang Arom School, Wat Hantra School, Cholpratan Anukroh School, and Wat Yai Chaimongkol School. All in all, a total of 35 scholarships – each worth 2,500 baht – were presented. The scholarships total 87,500 baht in value. In addition, the Foundation also presented support fund of 15,000 baht, educational books, and souvenirs to Anuban Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya School.
