Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, organised the City of Sustainable Happiness mobile exhibition to promote morality and goodness in young ambassadors of virtue under the concept of Young People of Virtue Leading Thailand to the Path of Sustainable Development, “Think Wisely, Look Ahead, Understand Thailand, Understand the World.”
Domestic Projects and Activities
Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, together with Siam Cement Group (SCG) and Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT), introduced the ‘Strengthening Good Morals of Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation’ Project (2019) with an aim to create a better understanding about the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), arranged a camp called “The King’s Philosophy to Sustainable Development” at Phu Phan Royal Development Study Centre in Sakon Nakhon province during 5 – 9 May 2018. The camp was participated by 139 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 32 teachers representing 52 schools from 17 provinces all over Thailand.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), organized a camp called “Preserve Thai Tradition, Revive the Forest, Maintain Water Sources” at Huai Hong Khrai Royal Development Study Centre, Chiangmai province during 27 April – 1 May 2018. The participants comprised of 76 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 16 teachers representing 29 schools from 8 Northern provinces of Thailand.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs organized a “New Virtue Generation with Sufficiency Economy into the International World Camp” at The Sirindhorn International Environment Park, Phetchaburi province during 17 – 22 April 2018. The participants comprised of 110 Young Ambassadors of Virtue from 24 provinces all around the country.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with PTT Public Company Limited, organized a camp called “Save the World, Save the Land” at the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, Phetchaburi province during 7 – 11 April 2018. The participants comprised of selected 139 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 28 teachers, representing 48 schools from 13 provinces all over Thailand.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), organized an “Innovative Profession, Nourishing lives with Sufficiency Economy Pathway Camp” at Khao Hin Sorn Royal Development Study Center, Chachoengsao province during 31 March – 4 April 2018. The participants comprised of 122 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 13 teachers, representing 48 schools from 13 provinces all around Thailand.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), organized a “Dhamma with Sufficiency Economy Camp” at Suan Tham Sripathum, a meditation centre, in Pathum Thaini province between 22 – 26 March 2018. It was participated by 189 Young Ambassadors of Virtue representing 71 schools from 19 provinces in northern, northeastern and eastern part of Thailand.
For the third consecutive year, the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation , with support from the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, has organised the Campaign Project to Promote Morality in the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The activities in this Project includes a “Sufficiency City” exhibition, consisting of 10 learning stations from which students can learn about the “self-sufficiency principles” and how to apply the principles in their daily lives. Students also had an opportunity to expand their world views through an exhibition on foreign affairs and the world.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The activities in this project included a mobile exhibition, depicting a “city of virtue”, and constructive activities aimed at strengthening the power of morality and knowledge for the youths in 4 provinces located in the northeastern part of Thailand: Nakhon Panom, Ubonratchathani, Sri Sraket, and Nakhon Ratchasrima.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The activities in this project included a mobile exhibition, depicting a “city of virtue”, and constructive activities aimed at strengthening the power of morality and knowledge for the youths in 3 provinces located in the northeastern part of Thailand: Loei, Khon Khaen and Sakol Nakorn.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue through the “city of virtue” and several creative activities aimed at enhancing the power of morality and knowledge among the youths in the 3 provinces in the northern part of Thailand.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue through the “city of virtue” and several constructive activities aimed at enhancing the power of morality and knowledge among the youths in the 2 provinces in the eastern part of Thailand: Chantaburi and Chachoengsao.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The activities in this project included a mobile exhibition, depicting a “city of virtue”, describing the 6 moral principles from His Majesty the King’s teaching. In parallel with the mobile exhibition, there were also a number of on-stage activities, such as written composition, narrating and singing performances. Such activities within this project were held in 3 regions of Thailand, covering 8 provinces, namely Phuket, Phang Nga, Chumporn, Petchaburi, Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Tak, and Mae Hongson. The total of 85 schools participated in this project’s events, which took place between 7 July – 12 September 2014.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue, based on His Majesty the King’s teaching, in 2 provinces in the northern part of Thailand: Mae Hong Son and Tak.
In Mae Hong Son, the events were held on 4 – 5 August, 2014 at Anuban Mae Hong Son School, and on 7 – 8 August 2014 at Anuban Khun Yuam School. At Anuban Mae Hong Son School, the Governor of Mae Hong Son, together with the Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 1,831 students and staff from 22 schools participated in the event. Later on, at Anuban Khun Yuam School, Dr. Poldech Worachatr, the advisor to the campaign project, together with the Deputy Director of the Educational Service Area Office in Mae Hong Son, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 1,210 students and staff from 16 schools participated in the event.
at Rai Chern Tawan International Meditation Center, Chiang Rai Province between 22 – 26 November 2014. Phramaha Wudhijaya Vajiramedhi (W.Vajiramedhi), a prominent Buddhist monk, was the main instructor at this camp.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with Office of the Royal Development Projects Board and Phubhan Center of Education and Development, organized an agriculture camp at Phubhan Center of Education and Development, Sakolnakorn Province, between 12 – 16 November 2014. The participants comprised 201 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 47 teachers representing 77 schools from 22 provinces in Thailand.
The camp was held at the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park, Petchaburi Province between 30 October – 6 November 2014. The participants comprised 211 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 34 teachers representing 73 schools from 22 provinces in Thailand.
