A campaign project in 2015 to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue in 4 provinces in the northeastern part of Thailand

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The activities in this project included a mobile exhibition, depicting a “city of virtue”, and constructive activities aimed at strengthening the power of morality and knowledge for the youths in 4 provinces located in the northeastern part of Thailand: Nakhon Panom, Ubonratchathani, Sri Sraket, and Nakhon Ratchasrima.

In Nakhon Panom, the event took place at Anuban Nakhon Panom School during 19 – 20 November 2015. Mr. Suwat Chiraphan, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a committee member of the Foundation, together with Mr. Pramual Moongmatr, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Panom, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 2,744 students, teachers and staff from 15 member schools participated in the event.

In Ubonratchathani, the event took place at Ubon Vidhyakom in Amphoe Mueng during 23 – 24 November 2015. Ms. Chantipha Phootrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, together with Mr. Somsak Changtrakul, Governor of Ubonratchathani, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 2,375 students and teachers from 7 member schools participated in the event.

In Sri Sraket, the event took place at Anuban Sri Sraket School during 26 – 27 November 2015. Ms. Chanthipha Phootrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, together with Mr. Murathathi Rakchatcharoen, Deputy Governor of Sri Sraket, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 3,400 students and teachers from 12 member schools participated in the event.

In Nakhon Ratchasrima, the event took place at Wat Srakaew School in Amphoe Mueng during 30 November – 1 December 2015. Dr. Poldech Worachatr, Advisor to the campaign project in 2015 chaired the opening ceremony. 2,500 students and teachers participated in the event.
The “city of virtue” exhibition consists of 6 learning sites and 6 information boards on His Majesty’s teaching. After all abovementioned events were completed, parts of the exhibition were donated to a number of core member schools which would continue to employ them for educational purposes, thereby maximizing the benefits realized from the exhibition equipment.

To conclude, the campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue, which started on 2 September 2015 and finished on 2 December 2015, had 39 days of the “city of virtue” exhibition in 12 core member schools in 12 provinces, ranging from Chantaburi, Chachoengsao, Pitsanulok, Nan, Chiang Rai, Loei, Khon Khaen, Sakol Nakhon, Nakhon Panom, Ubonratchathani, Sri Sraket, and Nakhon Ratchasima, was attended by 38,248 students, teachers, and executive staff from 211 member schools.

Domestic Projects and Activities

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation and Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB) organized a camp on The King’s Philosophy to Sustainable Development

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), arranged a camp called “The King’s Philosophy to Sustainable Development” at Phu Phan Royal Development Study Centre in Sakon Nakhon province during 5 – 9 May 2018. The camp was participated by 139 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 32 teachers representing 52 schools from 17 provinces all over Thailand.
