The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, organized a campaign project to promote morality among the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The activities in this project included a mobile exhibition, depicting a “city of virtue”, and constructive activities aimed at strengthening the power of morality and knowledge for the youths in 3 provinces located in the northeastern part of Thailand: Loei, Khon Khaen and Sakol Nakorn.
In Loei, the event took place during 5 – 6 November 2015 at Anuban Chiangkhan School in Chiangkhan. Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, chaired the opening ceremony. 1,972 students and teachers from 22 member schools participated in the event.
In Khon Khaen, the event took place during 9 – 11 November 2015. Mr. Chaisiri Anaman, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, together with Mr. Khamthorn Thawornsathit, Governor of Khon Khaen, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 5,096 students, teachers, and staff from 18 member schools participated in the event.
In Sakol Nakorn, the event took place at Anuban Sakol Nakorn School during 16 – 17 November 2015. Mr. Pattamanithi Sena-narong, Deputy Manager of the Crown Property Bureau Foundation, together with Mr. Khoompol Banthaothook, Deputy Governor of Khon Khaen, co-chaired the opening ceremony. 2,834 students and teacher from 11 member schools participated in the event.
During the events, students and teachers took part in planning “trees of virtue”, which symbolizes the students’ determination to contribute to the society. Continued support from schools’ administration and teachers is crucial for the success of this campaign project. Special thanks are given to the schools that hosted these events, as they went through a tremendous amount of preparation work for the events, including promoting and inviting students from nearby schools to attend the events. This kind of support from member schools helped contribute to the success of the campaign project.
