The Delegation of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Project Visiting 
the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation (YAVF), in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, arranged a visit to Viet Nam during 26August – 2September 2018. The delegation, led by Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Director-General of Department of Information, comprised of 39 participants including the Director of YAVF, selected 27 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, 6 teachers, 3 school directors, and 2 officers from the foundation. The participants are 4th – 9th grade students representing 24 schools from 15 provinces of Southern and Central Thailand.

During the visit, the Director-General of Department of Information had led the delegation to pay a courtesy call on H.E. Ureerat Charoentoh, Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City, and also led the delegation to visit Loung Dinh Cua Secondary School. Furthermore, the delegation also visited educational institutions in Ho Chi Minh City, which are Ngo Tat To Secondary School and Department of Thai Language at University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH). The aim of the visit was to allow students to exchange their knowledge and experiences with a great impression among students. This visit also fostered good friendship between the youths of both countries.

The Youth Ambassadors’ visit to Vietnam was a successful trip with the great support from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City. The delegation visited many UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as My Son Sanctuary, and Hue Imperial City, as well as numerous significant historical places in Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City such as Linh Ung Pagoda, Marble Mountains, Museum of Cham Sculpture, Khai Dinh Tomb, Imperial Palace, Thein Mu Pagoda, Cu Chi Tunnels and so on. This learning experience has opened their mindset and allowed them to learn from various good models in improving and adapting to new changes and conditions. It has also built up their confidence and encouraged them to become such an important workforce of the nation.

Expanding the Young Ambassadors’ World Views Abroad

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Study Visit to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation (YAVF), together with the Royal Thai Embassy in Vientiane, implemented the project, “The Study VisitofYoung Ambassadors of Virtue to the Lao People’s Democratic Republic” during 12 – 18 December 2024 with 32 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, led by Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation. The group consisted of 3 school directors, 5 teachers, 21 Young Ambassadors of Virtue representing 22 schools in 18 different provinces, 1 YAVF staff member, and 1 volunteer. 

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Study Visit to the Republic of Indonesia

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, together with the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, implemented the project, “The Study Visitofthe Young Ambassadors of Virtueto the Republic of Indonesia” during 25 – 30 November 2024 with the participation of 37 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, led by Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation. The group comprised 4 school directors, 6 teachers, 23 students representing 22 schools in 19 provinces, 1 YAVF staff member, and 1 volunteer.
