The Delegation of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Project Visiting Guangdong Province, the People’s Republic of China

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou, organized a visit to Guangdong province during 28 May – 6June 2018. The delegation consisted of 6 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, 1 supervisor teacher from 6 schools in 6 provinces (Chantaburi, Nakhon Phanom, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Chiang Rai and Narathiwat). Students are between 5^th – 8^th grade selected from schools in the Foundation’s network.

During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on Mr. Vasin Ruangprateepsaeng, the Consul-General. The delegation, moreover, visited Songshan Hu Dongguan Secondary Demonstration School, Huangpu Experimental Primary School, and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. Besides, the delegation had a great chance to experience modern science, history and unique cultures through numerous notable museums and landmarks such as TIT Cultural Center, Guangdong Science Center, Overseas Chinese Museum, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and etc. 

This project is an initiative of the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou, and demonstrates a close cooperation between the Royal Thai Consulate and the Foundation with the shared goal to encourage youth participation in Thailand-China relations, empowering the current young generation to be a vital strength of the nation with internationally competitive spirit. The project owes much of its success to the support of the Royal Thai Consulates and all their staff.
