The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation (YAVF), in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Kunming, organized a visit to Yunnan province during 8 – 14October 2018. The delegation consisted of the Director of the YAVF, 2 YAVF officers, 30 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, 6 teachers, and 3 school directors representing 25 schools from 16 provinces all around Thailand. These representative youths are 4th – 9th grade students selected from schools in the Foundation’s network.

During the visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on Miss Nitivadee Manitkul, Consul-General in Kunming. Moreover, the delegation visited Kunming Mingtong Elementary School, Elemetary School Attached to Yunnan Normal University, and Kunming Foreign Language School. They also had a great chance to learn and experience the history and unique cultures through numerous notable museums and natural landmarks such as the Stone Forest, Yunnan Museum, Yuantong Temple, Yunnan Cultural Village, and etc.

The project owed much of its success to the support of the Consulate-General in Kunming. This visit has encouraged the youths to continually foster relationship between countries and also broadened their vision as well as inspired them to be an important workforce in driving the country.
