The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China awarded scholarships to schools in the Young Ambassadors of Virtue network

The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China awarded 150 scholarships, 5,000 baht per each scholarship, for a total of 750,000 baht 27 the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation’s network schools in Nakorn Ratchasima, Rayong and Chiang Mai.

On 13 October 2015, H.E. Mr. Ning Fukui, Ambassador of China to Thailand, along with his wife visited Wat Srakaew School in Nakorn Ratchasima to award 50 scholarships, each worth 5,000 baht, to exemplary students from 9 schools in 7 education districts. The schools were selected by the Young Ambassador of Virtue Foundation. The 9 schools range from pilot YAVF schools (Wat Srakaew School) to schools that joined the Foundation in its expansion phase during 2001.

On 11 November 2015, H.E. Mr. Ning Fukui, Ambassador of China to Thailand, along with his wife visited Anuban Rayong School to award 50 scholarships, each worth 5,000 baht, to exemplary students from 8 schools in 2 education districts of Rayong. The 8 schools consist of schools that joined the Foundation in 2001 and 2002 with number of students ranging from 65 to 3,500 students.

On 26 February 2016, H.E. Mr. Ning Fukui, Ambassador of China to Thailand, along with his delegation, visited Ban Sankamphaeng School in Chiang Mai to award scholarships to exemplary students from 10 schools. The schools were chosen by the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation. The 10 schools are situated in 7 towns and 3 large education districts, with number of students raning from 180 to 1,800 students.

The Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation expressed her sincere appreciation to the Ambassador of China to Thailand for his and the Embassy’s scholarship support, which sets an example for other Embassies to follow.

The Ambassador of China to Thailand stated that he was very glad to help encourage students to study diligently in order to grow up to be quality citizens that can help foster and strengthen Thailand-China relation. The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China is willing to lend support to broaden Thai students’ knowledge about China through its scholarships and the cooperation with the Young Ambassador of Virtue Foundation.

Scholarship for YAVF

Scholarship from the People’s Republic of China Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand

   On 30 January 2023, Mr. Yang Xin, Chargé d’Affaires of the People’s Republic of China Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand, presented a scholarship of 640,000 baht to the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Ms. Chantipa Phutrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, accepted the scholarship to support three schools under the Foundation’s network. They are Phratumnuk Suankularb School, Bangkok; Sanambin School, Khon Kaen Province; and Anuban Nakhon Sawan School, Nakhon Sawan Province.
