The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation (YAVF), together with the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, implemented the project“The Study Visits of theYoung Ambassadors of Virtue tothe Republic of Korea” during 15 – 24 October 2024 with the participation of 35 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, led by Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation. The group consisted of 4 school directors and 5 teachers, 22 students from 16 schools in 13 provinces, 1 YAVF staff member, and 2 volunteers.
For this visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of Korea, and exchanged learning experiences with students at 2 elementary schools, one in Seoul and another in Incheon, as well as Thai-major students at 1 university, as follows:
1. Seoul Eonbuk Elementary School
2. Incheon Buma Elementary School
3. Hankuk University of Foreign Studies
They also learned about modern innovation, history, and Korean culture from their visits to museums and landmarks, such as the Eunpyeong Hanok Village, the Gwanghwamun Square, Cheonggyecheon Stream, the Bucheon Bow Museum, HiKR Ground, National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, The War Memorial of Korea, Museum Kimchikan, and the Incheon Metropolitan City Museum.
The above-mentioned project was a special experience that enriched the Young Ambassadors of Virtue learning’s experience in Korea, where innovations and technologies have been integrated into the education system. The project also offered an opportunity for school directors to establish contact with their Korean counterparts so that they can coordinate with each other again in the future and for students to exchange learning activities and strengthen bonds with Korean students. The experience served as an inspiration for the Young Ambassadors of Virtue to stay committed to developing their potential.
