The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, together with the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi, organized a Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visit to India during 27-31 January 2019. H.E. Dr. Pholdej Worachat led the group of 26 people (16 students, 4 teachers, and 3 school directors) from 19 schools in 19 provinces from all regions of Thailand to India.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue from Thailand paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mme. Suchitra Durai, Ambassador of India to Thailand, before their visit to India.
Once the delegation arrived in India, they paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Chutintorn Gongsakdi, Ambassador of Thailand to India, and H.E. Mme. Sushma Swaraj, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue from Thailand exchanged their knowledge and experiences with students from the Vasant Valley School and Shiv Nadar School. In addition, the delegation visited important places, such as the Swaminarayan Akshardham, Qutub Minar, National Museum of India, Om bookstore, and Dilli Haat, in order to learn more about India’s history, religion, and local ways of life.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visit to India concluded successfully with the support from the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi. The visit promoted youth exchanges, friendship, and widened the youth ambassadors’ world views, in which they could further translate and adapt what they have seen to their local communities and schools.
