The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait together with the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation organized a Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visit to Kuwait during 7-14 January 2019. The group comprised 6 youth ambassadors and 1 teacher from 6 schools in 6 Provinces (Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat, Nakhon Sri Thmmarat, Pathumthani, and Chachoengsao).

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue from Thailand paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait, and Mr. Faisal Al-Maqseed, Assistant Undersecretary, Ministry of Education of Kuwait. The delegation also visited the British School of Kuwait. The delegation had the opportunity to learn about Kuwait’s history, culture, and innovation through visiting important places and museums in Kuwait, such as the Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait Tower, Grand Kuwait, Heritage Village, and Al Rai Media Group Company. The delegation also participated in the Mobile Consular activity organized by the Embassy, which allowed the youth ambassadors to gain better perspective about Kuwait and expand friendship among the youth of both countries. While the delegation was in Kuwait, the Kuwait media interviewed some youth ambassadors and made a news scoop about their visit. The youth ambassadors also performed Thai boxing, played rattan ball, and sang Arabic songs.

This project is initiated by the Embassy of Thailand to Kuwait. It is the first time for the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation to be visiting the Middle East. The collaboration between the Foundation and the Embassy encouraged and fostered friendship among the youth of both sides. With the full support of the Embassy, the visit was a great success
