Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visited Kuwait

The Royal Thai Embassy in Kuwait together with the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation organized a Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visit to Kuwait during 7-14 January 2019. The group comprised 6 youth ambassadors and 1 teacher from 6 schools in 6 Provinces (Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat, Nakhon Sri Thmmarat, Pathumthani, and Chachoengsao).

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue from Thailand paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Dusit Manapan, Ambassador of Thailand to Kuwait, and Mr. Faisal Al-Maqseed, Assistant Undersecretary, Ministry of Education of Kuwait. The delegation also visited the British School of Kuwait. The delegation had the opportunity to learn about Kuwait’s history, culture, and innovation through visiting important places and museums in Kuwait, such as the Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait Tower, Grand Kuwait, Heritage Village, and Al Rai Media Group Company. The delegation also participated in the Mobile Consular activity organized by the Embassy, which allowed the youth ambassadors to gain better perspective about Kuwait and expand friendship among the youth of both countries. While the delegation was in Kuwait, the Kuwait media interviewed some youth ambassadors and made a news scoop about their visit. The youth ambassadors also performed Thai boxing, played rattan ball, and sang Arabic songs.

This project is initiated by the Embassy of Thailand to Kuwait. It is the first time for the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation to be visiting the Middle East. The collaboration between the Foundation and the Embassy encouraged and fostered friendship among the youth of both sides. With the full support of the Embassy, the visit was a great success

The Delegation of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Project Visiting Guangdong Province, the People’s Republic of China

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Guangzhou, organized a visit to Guangdong province during 28 May – 6 June 2018. The delegation consisted of 6 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, 1 supervisor teacher from 6 schools in 6 provinces (Chantaburi, Nakhon Phanom, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Chiang Rai and Narathiwat). Students are between 5th – 8th grade selected from schools in the Foundation’s network.

Young Ambassadors of Virtue’s Visit to the Kansai Region

The Royal Thai Consulate in Osaka, in collaboration with the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, organized a visit to Kansai for the selected group of Young Ambassadors of Virtue during 29 September – 9 October 2017, as part of activities to celebrate and commemorate the 130th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Japan. This is also the second year that the Royal Thai Consulate in Osaka and the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation has organised such visit, with a view to foster friendship and strengthen people-to-people relation between the Thai and Japanese youth through various cultural and educational activities.

A Delegation of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Visited the Kansai Region

The Royal Thai Consulate in Osaka, in collaboration with the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, organized a visit to the Kansai Region of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue. The delegation consists of 5 Ambassadors of Virtue and 1 supervisor teacher from 6 schools in 6 provinces (Nan, Khon Khaen, Chantaburi, Petchaburi and Yala). These are 5th – 6th grade students, with the average age between 11 – 12 years old, selected from schools in the Foundation’s network. Prior to the visit, the Foundation arranged a preparatory session for the students to help get them ready for the visit. The students also paid a courtesy call to the Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs.
