The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, together with the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore, organized a Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visit to Singapore, during 3-10 February 2020. H.E. Mr. Vijavat Israbhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, led the group of 54 people (31 students, 6 teachers, and 4 school directors) from 29 schools in 28 provinces from all regions of Thailand to Singapore.
On the occasion of this visit, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Israbhakdi, in his remarks, encouraged the young ambassadors to be eager about learning and observing their surroundings as much as possible. The Director of the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation told the young ambassadors to exercise their comparative thinking skills, fulfill their missions, and share their knowledge and experiences with their peers.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue from Thailand paid a courtesy call on Mr. Twekiat Janprajak, Charge d’affaires a.i., and Mr. Foo Cexiang, Senior Deputy Director, Planning and International Cooperation, Ministry of Education of Singapore.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue from Thailand exchanged their knowledge and experiences with students from the Ahmad Ibrahim Primary School and Jing Shan Primary School.
The delegation also visited important places, such as Sir Stamford Raffles statue, Merlion, Gardens by the Bay, National Museum of Singapore, Singapore ArtScience Museum and Singapore Maritime Gallery, in order to learn more about Singapore’s history, culture, and local ways of life.
The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation Visit to Singapore concluded successfully with the support from the Royal Thai Embassy in Singapore. The visit provided an exceptional learning opportunity for the young ambassadors. They can further apply what they have learnt and observed to their daily lives and groom themselves to be responsible, accountable, care for the environmental, and support national development.
