H.E. Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Director of Young Ambassador of Virtue Foundation, led a delegation of 37 individuals on a visit to Malaysia on 26 – 31 January 2015. The delegation included 28 Young Ambassadors of Virtue, 6 teachers and 2 school directors representing 14 provinces in the southern part of Thailand and 7 provinces in the eastern part of Thailand. The students were selected from the “Save the world, Save the land” camp which was held in November 2014.

The delegation visited SK Seri Bintang Utara school and SK Bukit Damansara school, two leading primary schools in Kuala Lumpur. The visit allowed for the exchanges of knowledge and experience and left a great impression among students of both sides. The visit has broadened students’ vision and fostered good friendship among youths of the two nations. As part of a cultural exchange, the delegation did chorus performance in Thai, English, and Malaysian.

The Young Ambassadors of Virtue’s visit to Malaysia was a very successful trip. The delegation visited many important sites such as Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM), National Museum, Science Museum, and Melaka. This learning experience has opened their eyes and given them a valuable experience. It has also built up their confidence and encouraged them to become a good role model in the society.
