Director of the Young Ambassador of Virtue Foundation led the delegation of 37 on a visit to the Republic of Vietnam from 30 March – 4 April 2015. The delegation comprised 26 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 7 teachers, representing 21 provinces in the northeastern part of Thailand and 2 provinces in the central part of Thailand. They were selected from the agriculture camp held in Bhupan, Sakolnakorn province in November 2014.

The delegation visited the largest private school and 4 leading government schools in Hanoi. Students in those schools generally possess strong academic achievement, as well as excellent linguistic skills. The Young Ambassadors of Virtue received a warm welcome, and got to exchange knowledge and experiences with students from those schools, which further enhanced their friendship. This experience has opened their mindset, and fostered relationship between students from the two countries. Teachers and a school director in the delegation also expressed their willingness to welcome exchange students from Vietnam on their future visits to Thailand. The Young Ambassadors of Youth also performed by singing Vietnamese songs and playing traditional Thai instruments from the northeastern region.

The visit was a very successful trip thanks to the support from the Royal Thai Embassy and its staff. The delegation visited several important sites, such as Ho Chi Minh tomb, Ha Lom Bay, the Museum of Tribes, Temple of Literature, and the first University in Vietnam. The delegation also paid a courtesy call to Ambassador Panyarak Poolthup at his residence. This visit has inspired the Young Ambassadors of Virtue to continue to develop and improve themselves for their own future and for the society as a whole.
