On 26 December 2023, Mr. Wu Zhiwu, Minister of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Thailand, presented a scholarship of 640,000 baht to the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to support 4 schools under the Foundation’s network, namely Anuban Chiang Khong School, Chiang Rai Province; Anuban Sakonnakhon School, Sakon Nakhon Province; Wichitsongkram School, Phuket Province; and Anuban Suratthani School, Suratthani Province.

On this occasion, the Minister said the Embassy was pleased and honored to have presented a scholarship to the Foundation under the supervision of Ministry of Foreign Affairs to train new generations of people to be helpful to society and an importance force for the country, a well as to foster friendships with people in other countries to promote good relations, including Thai-Chinese relations. The Minister hoped that there would be further support along the same lines in the future, and the Embassy is willing to expand cooperation with the Foundation in various areas.
H.E. Mr. Nathapol Khantahiran, Deputy Permanent Secretary, thanked the Embassy for providing educational support to the schools under the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, which will promote learning and empower young people to help develop the country.
H.E. Ms. Chantipha Phutrakul, Director of the Young Ambassador of Virtue Foundation, expressed her willingness to cooperate with the Embassy, adding students under the Foundation’s network have become increasingly interested in learning Chinese. They are able to communicate more influently in Chinese.
The scholarship presentation is highly benefitial to students and helps sustain the friendship between the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China and the Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation moving forward.
