The Patron Project by Anuban Singburi School included the Hungary Week, held from 20 – 30 November 2023. The Hungary Week provided general information about Hungary, especially its social and cultural aspects, for students of Anuban Singburi School to learn more about the country. A country in Europe, Hungary is rich in history and renowned for innovations, such as the Rubik’s cube, the mRNA vaccine, and Microsoft Word used in classrooms and work offices today.

The Hungary Week (30 November 2023) under the Patron Project was also an opportunity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Hungary, whose are rooted in a longstanding bond of 154 years. During the school visit, the Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand praised students for their knowledge of Hungary and their organisation of the Hungary exhibitions that encompass various aspects, including arts, culture, and Hungary landmarks, as well as the Thai-Hungary-themed activities with a focus on traditional Thai dance arts, cooking demonstration, Singburi handicrafts (Hai Si Hu pottery), and sports like takeball and pingpong between the school and the Embassy.

The Patron Project was an opportunity for the school and the Embassy to get acquainted and strengthen their bond especially among the students who continue to broaden their horizons to learn more about multiculturalism. This will help them grow into knowledgeable and capable adults.
