The Young Ambassadors of Virtue Foundation, in cooperation with the Sirindhorn International Environmental Park Foundation, organized an “Energy Conservation” camp. The camp was held at Sirindhorn International Environment Park, Petchaburi Province between 27 – 29 October 2014. The participants comprised 63 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 12 teachers, representing 22 schools from 12 provinces in Thailand.
The activities at the camp included viewing of an exhibition in honor of His Majesty on energy conservation, value of energy, methods to conserve energy, and available technologies that can support energy conservation, with a view to promote ways of life that are in harmony with nature. Participants also had a chance to learn means to conserve natural resources, especially the means to conserve mangrove forest in accordance with His Majesty’s initiative.
After having completed this learning experience, 5 Young Ambassadors of Virtue and 1 teacher were selected to join the study trip to Indonesia in February 2015 to promote knowledge exchanges and friendship.
